I was feeling little bit that I could get sick, so I was running to find some fresh herbs which I realized I can actually pick for myself to make a tea. I skípped some spots which were mainstream and went to find other spot I liked. It suddenly started raining with storm but I was picking up the freshest herbs at the time. Like strawberry leaves. Then a cat was following me, she was trying to get something nice from me and was gonna get petted. I just told her I have nothing now and she rolled on her back and her body against mine and purred. I felt happy because of the herbs. Suddenly, airplane started flying super close to me and crashed very close, catapulting some part crazy close above my head. I wasn’t sure if it’s gonna hit me but the main part flew little bit further than me and missed me. I could hear people scream and had some feeling someone could be dead. And I didn’t wanted to die. Then I woke up.
Dreams often reflect our subconscious thoughts, emotions, and concerns. Your dream illustrates a mixture of themes including health, personal agency, safety, and companionship, all woven together by the landscape of your waking life. Let’s break down the various elements of your dream.
Herbs as Symbols of Healing: The act of seeking out fresh herbs suggests a desire for healing and wellness, especially given your awareness of feeling unwell in the dream. Herbs commonly symbolize health, wellness, and natural remedies, pointing to your intuitive knowledge about what you need to feel better.
Choosing Your Own Path: You mention skipping mainstream spots in favor of a place you like. This is significant because it signifies your need for agency in your life decisions. Instead of adhering to what is commonly accepted, you are seeking authenticity and personal satisfaction, even in a moment of vulnerability.
Weather as Emotional Context: The onset of the storm represents potential upheavals and stressors in your life. It might be reflecting feelings of chaos or confusion you are experiencing, especially regarding your health or circumstances that feel beyond your control. However, even amidst the storm, you are still focused on gathering the herbs, indicating resilience.
Companionship and Connection: The cat’s presence in your dream denotes a desire for companionship, warmth, or comfort during trying times. When the cat rolls against you and purrs, it reflects connections in your life; it could symbolize a supportive friend or an aspect of yourself that seeks affection and reassurance.
Fear and Anxiety: The airplane crashing introduces the theme of fear and unexpected danger. It might illustrate feelings of anxiety about your health or a looming threat in your life. The airplane, often associated with freedom and adventure, now becomes a source of peril, indicating that you may feel trapped or overwhelmed despite having aspirations or desires. The aspect of narrowly escaping danger can reflect your inherent fear of mortality or sudden change.
Screams and Uncertainty: Hearing screams and the thought of potential death suggest a deep-seated worry about the fragility of life and the impact of external circumstances beyond your control. This could parallel your own feelings about health risks or other uncertainties in your life.
Desire for Safety: Your concern of not wanting to die resonates strongly, encapsulating a protective instinct towards yourself that surfaces in moments of distress. This can reflect a broader yearning to preserve your well-being and maintain control in an unpredictable world.
Overall, your dream is a rich tapestry of your current emotional state. It illustrates your search for health and healing through personal agency (herbs), the importance of companionship (the cat), and confronting fears or anxieties (the storm and airplane crash). Moving forward, it may be beneficial to explore these feelings further in your waking life — think about the sources of stress that feel overwhelming and seek support (like the cat) for your health, both physically and emotionally. By acknowledging and addressing these themes, you can cultivate a path toward comfort and well-being.
